What will you do to ensure the police issue more civil than criminal summonses?

Criminal summonses and arrests for low level offenses and traffic violations can have dire immigration consequences. By "low level" offenses I mean things like turnstile-jumping or a bike violation.

Would you support a national database of gun purchases all gun sellers can access?

In this database owners can view all purchase history from years/decades, serial #'s, where the arms were bought, & any information needed. This should served as an alarm if anyone buys too many arms!

Why do so many Federal employees get to work in weapon free zones.. Congress?

We can open carry weapons into churches, grocery stores, hotels and schools. Why is congress off limits.? They are the ones who made the laws.

Weapons don't fire or detonate themselves. They don't use themselves as leverage to threaten others.

Ever since SQF has been tossed out and there have been added laws in place to protect and make it able for citizens to sue cops. Do you believe this has emboldened criminals to commite more crimes?

How can you continue broken windows policing with an aim to close Rikers Island?

If you continue to arrest and terrorize citizens over small misdemeanors like jumping turnstiles, you will continue to enter young teens and poverty-stricken citizens into the system!

How do you justify fiscal & human costs of incarceration; how will you fix this?

Tragedies like Kalief Browder and countless others like him cost taxpayers millions of dollars while destroying families and communities and creating further distrust of law enforcement.

Do you support going beyond decriminalization to the legalization of marijuana?

Of New York City’s 76 neighborhood police precincts, 37 neighborhoods are majority black & Latinx. These have about 1/2 the city’s population but provide 66% of marijuana arrests--92% are black/Latinx

Citizens returning from prison are at a disadvantage. The recidivism (return to prison) rate is over 50%.

How will you stop drivers from being so reckless around the Citi bike riders?

Riding a bike in NYC is like being a moving target to taxis and uber drivers, who act like they aren't supposed to share the road and we are a nuisance. People are dying because of this!

What % of crime in NYC is commuted by illegal aliens?

My husband and I are legal independent immigrants from USSR. We are appalled by illegal immigration that costs $135 billion/year, depresses wages for minorities, brings crime into the country.

Do you support Sanctuary Cities? If so, how do you justify this lawless action?
